SALALM - Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials

~español~ | ~portugues~

The primary objectives of SALALM are to coordinate the dissemination of bibliographic information about all types of Latin American publications and to develop library collections of Latin Americana in support of education and research.

SALALM meets annually to conduct organization business, interact with vendors, and participate in a theme-centered conference related to Latin American Studies and the library resources, programs and services that support it. The Papers are subsequently published.

The bi-monthly SALALM Newsletter and a moderated electronic mailing list, LALA-L (Latin Americanist Librarian's Announcement list), keep members networking and in touch with developments in the field. These publications are included as part of the individual membership.
